We have secured an official permit to line dance in Stern Grove in San Francisco! We'll be doing this on Saturday afternoons, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, every week until November 21. By law and by contract, this event is limited to 11 dancers plus one instructor/DJ/manager.
We'll be on the same stage as used for the Stern Grove Festival. The stage has a wonderful, flat, wood plank floor, and it's large enough to allow for plenty of social distancing. The location is beautiful! Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy before, during, or after dancing.
The main entrance to the park is at Sloat Blvd & 19th Ave. While there is limited parking inside the park (Stern Grove Entry Rd. or Vale Ave.), it may be full on a weekend. There should be ample parking along Sloat Blvd. or 19th Ave. It's about a 1/4-mile walk down to the meadow (follow the green lines on the map into the park). Map
Attendance is limited, and we have strict infection control policies in place, including required face masks and social distancing. Please complete the Memorandum of Understanding on Friday or by 10:00 am on Saturday. Read it carefully, and watch out for the trick question! https://form.jotform.com/202686629032154
